Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. Her most well-known role was that of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the early 1970s. She was a theatre student through Northwestern University and spent a period at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago and worked in theater role for several years. Then she moved to Hollywood where she started acting in movies and television shows. In 1992 Anna landed her first big character as Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent guest on TV and in films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler played her part on Breaking Bad. She also starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the audio drama podcast series of four parts The Numbered Days series, which made available in 2022. The romance between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final years of his life.
