Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely known for her pioneering modern research of eyewitness accounts from children's memories and also the application of child victims in court contexts. Professor Goodman, who has numerous research publications as well as numerous grants to her name, is also the recipient of numerous national and global distinctions. She has worked with many organisations and governments across the world on studies and policy issues pertaining to children who are people who are victims of the law. Additionally, she provides consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a part of many professional organizations including those of the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychological Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman is also a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was director of 3 divisions (Division Society for Policy on Child and Family and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology) and one section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
